Guidance Department Scholarship Information

Welcome to the Willoughby South Scholarship listing page.

As scholarships arrive in the guidance office, updated lists including the South High "due dates" will be posted on this web site and in senior English classes. Scholarship information is no longer available in the guidance office.

To ensure the accuracy and integrity of each scholarship application, the following scholarship format will be used to process applications:

1. Transcript Release Form must be on file in the guidance department.
2. Complete all parts of the application.
3. Recommendations - Required letters of recommendation from teachers or outside sources are to be collected by the applicant in a sealed envelope and attached to the scholarship application before it is turned in to the guidance department.
4. Provide stamped, addressed envelope (if applicable) for each application.
5. Turn in all parts of application to the guidance office.
6. Complete "Scholarship Application Processing Form" (available in the guidance office), paper clip to application and place in scholarship basket.
7. The guidance department will attach a copy of the applicant's transcript and test scores and will mail the application with the provided stamped and addressed envelope.

All applications will be date-stamped on the day received in the guidance office. Applications received after 2:30 pm will be date-stamped for the next day.

The guidance department requires seven (7) working days to process scholarship applications for mailing including scholarships from outside sources. Web site due dates may not reflect South High guidance department due dates. Please refer to due dates on the scholarship listing.
